DO I HAVE TO SPEAK A SECOND LANGUAGE TO BE PLACED BY ACCENT?
A:
No. We have many monolingual positions, as well as bilingual. But our clients are international companies and some openings, particularly in the administrative area, may require fluency in another language.

WHAT LANGUAGES, IN ADDITION TO ENGLISH, DOES ACCENT REPRESENT?
A:
We currently place candidates with fluency in French, German, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese and Hebrew.

WHAT DOES ACCENT'S CANDIDATE REVIEW PROCESS ENTAIL?
A:
When you come in, we ask you to fill out a standard form, or "candidate profile". Next you speak with an informative and friendly Accent staffing specialist. That's how we get acquainted and learn more about your qualifications, goals, and expectations. We also conduct skills and language fluency testing to ensure that the position we place you in is the best one for you.

ARE ALL YOUR OPENINGS FOR POSITIONS IN NEW YORK CITY?
A:
Accent places in the New York Area offices of international companies. This includes New Jersey, Westchester and Connecticut.

WHAT ARE THE INDUSTRIES ACCENT PLACES IN?
A:
While the majority are in banking and finance, we also represent clients in the fashion and luxury-goods industries, and a variety of others. They're all international firms based outside the U.S.
